We offer two components of Staff Leadership Training:

All of our staff are required to attend a full day of orientation/training prior to the camp week normally in the month of June.

The content of the session includes:

• first-time staff members are familiarized with the Camp Cherith policies, procedures, expectations. etc.
• the week's schedule
• the cabin camper lists
• fill in necessary forms

The second training session is on-site on the Saturday just prior to the Sunday camper arrivals:

The content of this session includes:

• cabin / accommodation assignment
• finalization of the schedule
• prepare activities for the week
• general facilities preparation
• walk around the whole camp site and pray over each activity
• opportunity to get to know each staff member
• annual Abuse Education and Awareness Training provided in-house and modeled after the Plan to Protect® abuse training
